I started in a school gym at the age of 15. My passion for Muscle and Fitness lead me to FireFighting, Competitive Bodybuilding, Cybex/Matrix Equipment Brand Development, Service Technician to working directly with Equipment Manufacturers.
I was influenced by my mentors, who were a Mr Universe Competitor, a Les Mills CEO, a Gym Equipment Specialist and a Media Creator.
Over a decade they influenced and fuelled me with knowledge and empowered me with the tools to help craft my passion. My dream turned reality...

What is Muscle Dept.
(MD) reinforces the idea that setting up a gym in all communities around New Zealand is possible. We will lower the capital requirements for launching a Gym as well as passing on our expert insight on best gym practices, that we have developed over a decade. We aim to do this by enlightening our customers when it comes to price, quality, customisation & heart felt service.
Our equipment can be found in some of the hardest working gyms across the country. From large commercial gyms, School Gyms, Physio's, PT Studios, Boutique Gyms to our hardest working DHB's Clinics.
