The Smith machine is a great gym tool for anyone who is new to strength training or wants to improve their shape and technique. The machine allows you to use heavier weights, more than you could use on, for example, in freeweight racks. The built-in safety pins remove scaremongering from lifting, limiting the need for a ”spotter” and reducing the risk of injury.

This Gymleco Smith machine with counterweight provides a wider range of applications since the weight of the bar becomes only 2 kg with the counterweight. The bar is balanced by two counter weights, which are connected to the bar and run parallel to it. The purpose of the counterweights on a smith machine is to reduce the net weight of the barbell, thus allowing users to exercise with a resistance that is less than the actual weight of the barbell carriage.

The smith machine is excellent for rehabilitation, beginner training and for those who do not have the strength to use a traditional Smith Machine
